I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Nordstrom Old Orchard Store and speak to their employees about diabetes and my mission to educate and spread awareness about this disease.
Mr. Brian Townsend, the Store Manager, was so nice to me and arranged to have me speak at their morning meeting. Everyone was so complimentary and welcoming. I took a picture dressed in my Nordstrom suit, sitting at Mr. Townsend’s desk. I was so happy I was able to educate more people about diabetes and bring us all one step closer to a cure.
