I received the opportunity from the Make A Wish Foundation and got the chance to go to Hawaii with my family to watch the Pro Bowl and meet the players.
My wish was to get my message out about the terrible effects diabetes can have on your body. I educated everyone I met about diabetes and my eosinophilic disease. It was an amazing experience and I will never forget what a great opportunity it was. I would like to especially thank George McCaskey, owner of the Chicago Bears, for everything he did for my family. He is such a wonderful man and is helping to make a difference.
